I will only choose a paint color if I like the name of it...if I don't...I will stay on the search for just the right color with just the right name
for example:
the paint color I finally settled on for the stucco outside 822 is called
Valuable Gift
(822 has been a very valuable gift to us)
So today when I set out to choose a paint color for my feature wall in the atrium/drop your wet towel room
I could not believe how fortunate I was to walk in to my local store and be able to choose
J.E.R.I.C.O.
Jerico Perkins Turnbull, Choctaw Indian and my Great Great Grandmother

Divine providence, I'd say. LOVE the color! It looks great as a backdrop for you painting.
oooo. Fabulous color!
pretty cool name! LOVE the colors...
I have never even noticed pain color names...but then I have never read directions either.
Great name and great color!!
Hello Gina:
We are never concerned with a paint name. Anything made by Farrow and Ball is perfect for us.
I like your way of choosing colours. You enjoy your work at home and that's fine
I think it's fantastic - the strong colour really enhances the great architectural detail !
Whatever works!! Love the colors :)
I'll admit I've never chose a paint color because of it's name, but I like the idea. Especially, when the names fit the projects as well as yours did. I like Jerico...it's so cheerful!
Love it, Gina. it's such a refreshing colour and works really well with the painting. Great pick. Great name.
Coming in from the backyard, it's awesome to bring in right inside. Good choice!
I usually start looking for a color, but yes, it's that name that grabs me. :)
This room is going to be gorgeous!
Hugs,
Zuzu
Love you dear girl! It's just paint, I always say. I have never cared a thing about paint names, just hues. Funny to think that those names MEAN something to people.
