MARCH LUCK

If February is about
LOVE
then
March is about
LUCK

and where I live?
WIND
most days average about 17 MPH
but today...30-50
(this is when we say it's too windy to stack bb's)

so it's best to amuse yourself indoors and that means
playing
in
the
dirt!

Lately I was inspired by my blog friend

so I went to Target and bought a tray
that she shows at her blog
(she's crazy talented)

I gathered up some soil and seeds and supplies

and planted a few fun things to make a day like today seem better

it happens almost right before your eyes!

Ruby Red Beets
to top your spring soups and salads
I filled my wooden tray with old jars to grow
moss and ferns and seeds

makes the blah March winds seem tolerable

Easter is just around the corner
I made these at my art gallery when I had a kiln
me and my kids made a rabbit patch!

FUN!

you can get away with a few nice fakes here and there

these are radish seeds

hmmm....peas to plant?

Go March!

Well you have inspired me. Going to start some seeds inside and watch them sprout! Oh my, is that moss growing on pea gravel in a mason jar??? Love it, I want to try that. Did you start out with yogurt and the stones?

What a great way to spend the month of March, while waiting for Springtime. Thank you for a very creative idea!

Too windy to stack BBs. I love that. Can't wait to see all of those seeds of yours sprout!

I do like the tray and everything in it! I love bringing the green indoors and playing in the dirt! Cute post, and I'd love to see more of your ceramic/clay art at some point. I had no idea that you once had a kiln!

Dearest Gina! Thank you so much for coming by today! Yes, I am very excited to interview artists now in order to write on them. I hope it will be a beginning of a career as a freelance writer!

I hope you are enjoying good weather. We finally have had some melting! YAY! Anita

I am tired of the wind, too. Smart idea to garden inside! I love the red stems of the beets - so pretty! I'm hoping since March has brought us wind, April will bring us showers!

March to me means shamrock plants. I love seeing them in abundance at the grocery stores. Thanks for sharing the plants around your house.
