SECRET OF LIFE

  • Be comfortable with who you are.....
  • Be comfortable in your own skin.....
  • Accept yourself the way you are.....

Year 56
this is what occurred to me
yes...I believe we need to be ok with who and what we are
but
perhaps
the real secret to life
is to
be
ok
with who we aren't

I just jumped on the 56 train this april and I am lovin' the wisdom that comes with time and the courage to see things differently from what popular culture says is valuable!!

I've been making peace with this, but had not put it so concisely or eloquently. Just turned 55 last month...:)We're on the same page, G.

So true, my friend. At 58, I've realized that I will never be that graceful swan I envisioned in my youth. And the other thing I've learned over the years is that everyone isn't going to like me and that's okay, because I don't like everyone either.

Well spoken grasshopper! I turned 61 this year and it is a rude awakening to be this age. But, it is no different than 56 or any other. If you are content with yourself first, then all is well. Happy summer Gina! xo Nancy
