SOULFUL GETAWAY

I consider myself to be one of the luckiest gals on the planet for many reasons
but today because of how close I live to
the Land of Enchantment and magical city of Santa Fe, New Mexico

We are only 5 hours and the drive is part of the wonderfulness of it

we try to visit a few times each year
and if you twisted my arm behind my back,  I could not choose which season I love the best...

(google)
 they are all beyond breathtaking

I'm sorry MLK had to die, but for us it creates a bank holiday, and with
baby Pshigoda due in February...this will be our best time to go for a while

This trip we are staying somewhere new....it's fun to experience them all!!
(I am sharing the hotel site photos...they are wonderful and make me so excited to go!)

we will arrive in the day for check in

but can you imagine walking into this lobby after a long drive or flight?
I can't stop looking at it

I think I could spend the entire weekend right here reading about

but this looks pretty inviting
and so does this!

The Screto Lounge was winner of Best Cocktails in 2013
I can only think they got better with time!

one thing I try to see each time
is something that just makes this life's journey seem to be in another realm....
please tell me you will put this on your life list!

On a trip to Taos many years ago, Mr. PV bought me this bracelet that I love and wear almost every day....it's true...
my soul
lives in the Land of Enchantment

Wishing you all a safe long weekend and please use the link below to book your trip and meet us there!

Jealous girl here in Canada!!! Having been to Santa Fe just once (and probably the only time), I long for it's beauty too.
I can still taste the chill rellenos at the courtyard restaurant!

Happy New Year! The hotel loooks wonderful and the lobby in particular looks so warm and inviting. I've always loved spiral stircases too and this one is stunning!

What a gorgeous place, GINA! And I wish you a lovely and safe trip.

Thank you my friend, for coming by to visit. I simply have no time, even time to repost as you suggested. The only thing I will be doing is taking my mornings before work to VISIT you all, but I have to put my blog to sleep for a while so I can devote those long hours I used to spend searching for photos to my PRIVATE writing life. I can't grow as I want and need to as a writer if I keep spending those hours on social media. I am however, still visiting, and I am not deleting my blog at all.

You are so kind. Just go back to past posts if you wish; what one of my writing dreams is is to take my best blog posts and include them in a self-published book. I'd need to have my own photography for that, however. It's a fun project as I continue my writing courses!

MUCH LOVE, GINA! Anita

Right now I'd prefer to soak in a tub of bubbles, a pillow behind my head and a good book.

You have a way with words. Your writings are beautiful.
