What a sucker I am for old bottles
I love the way age and time affects glass
sometimes giving it the slightest glisten
or actually turning it colors
I'm especially fond of old perfume bottles
last weekend Mr. PV and I went to an estate auction in Dalhart
and there were several there
estate auctions or garage sales are the best place to find them
sometimes they can be quite pricey in an antique store
I had this old apothecary jar that I filled
with tiny old perfume bottles
a few were neat enough to not go into that jar
the two large bottles are from Pottery Barn I think
the small one...estate auction
I wear Paris
because it smells like soap
and I love the bottles
maybe someday my perfume bottles will be loved by someone who loves old bottles
can you see the tiny Paris perfume bottle that I put a cross on?
they look so pretty together..arranged by color
you can find them everywhere at 822
old cosmetic jars are lovely too
the blue collection
continues to grow
my dear mother wore Chanel..their tiny crystal bottles are so pretty
I could look at them all day
I bought this atomizer from my dear friend's granddaughter's garage sale
she was letting her have a little sale on the porch...
you know what they say
one man's trash is another man's treasure
it belonged to her mother...I've asked her numerous times if she'd like it back
are those sweet little jewels just not the best???
vintage and slightly tarnished silver trays make a lovely place to combine them
so romantic and nostalgic
I wonder what people will like at my estate sale?

What a cool collection! And the way you display them makes a great statement. I love clean-smelling perfume, too, so I plan to check out "Paris." Thanks for joining the Thrifty Life Thursday gathering!
I am returning your visit to my blog. I just love perfume bottles too and have a few myself. I love the cobalt blue and the green is just beautiful.

Hello Gina! I especially love your BLUE collection! I tell ya, I think people would have a field day of JOY at your estate sale! Thank you for coming by to comment my friend.
Now that is something to consider that I have never thought of before--what will people want of my stuff? When the time comes to unclutter it's a shame not to have a daughter to pass down family heirlooms to. I like all your little perfume bottles -- a sweet collection and so interesting.
Wow, your collection is so pretty. Did you share it with the ladies @ Ivy & Elephants? They would love to see it.
I'm drawn to perfume bottles, especially antique ones. I only have one, and my husband's grandmother gave it to me! I love how they're splayed under the cloches.
I love Paris, BTW…one of my favorite perfumes!
Your bottle collection is lovely
and they add so much charm in your home.

You have such a wonderful collection of them and you adore the way you have displayed them. You may have just started a new collection obsession for me. I collect bottles but don't have a single perfume bottle in the mix. may have to change that. LOL.
So pretty Gina! I love them too and your collection is amazing and I like how they are displayed.
Love the little bottles Gina especially under the cloches- and the blue collection! What memories each holds. People will have a field day at your sale- you have some of the most interesting things!!! Hope all is well
These are all yours??? I don't think you've done a post on these since I've been following. I love! This may have to be a new collection for me.
Fun!

They will snap up those bottles right away! I particularly like the oldest bottles, from a time when a tiny bottle of scent was a true luxury. Love how your artistic eye arranged the tiny bottles in an apothocary jar. I never would have thought of that. I'm pinning to pass the idea along.
LOVE your collection!!!
They look fabulous displayed in that tray.
Oh, and how I remember Paris~
I love all your pretty bottles, Gina. It's always so fun to see what other people collect!
I love perfume bottles and have a collection myself. Love them under the cloche!!
Beautiful! I really should find a way of making our scent bottle collection look a little more attractive. Happy New Year Gina! X
