THE NOTE

Day before yesterday
she hurried to Poppy's house, ran upstairs to write her note
that began with her six year old words
in her artistic green and purple crayons, cut out in the shape of a large heart

"-------, I'm sorry we had a fight today.  You are my friend please can we still be friends."

B to Betty: What happened yesterday on the playground between you and -----?
Betty: I forgot
B: Where is your note you wrote her?
Betty: In my room
B:  Did you not give it to her?
Betty: I forgot

OK....I know what you're thinking....
6 year old stuff on the playground is in no way shape or form
EVEN.CLOSE.
to my real life intense issues
or
is it?

her ability to simply forget...is a lesson from the playground

I think this is what Jesus meant when he said
FOLLOW ME

To a six year old, this can be very traumatic. Even though Betty forgot the note, her intentions were well meaning. Hope they are still friends.

It's amazing the lessons we can learn from children isn't it??

I hope these two little girls are still friends. This can happen at any age, and can be very upsetting, except that pen replaces crayons.

Yup something to think about.
Kids can teach us so much. Their innocent little selves are pure and so much joy to be around.

It is very close to our real life issues ... forgive and follow the lords teachings.

You are so WISE.

I love this.

What if we all just forgot it all- every hurt, every slight?
