INDEPENDENCE DAY 2013

We always fly our flag...I love to see a flag waving in the summer breeze

something so good feelin' about it!

I like to buy those little flags at the grocery store and put them in my flower pots

these don't stay all summer...just on holidays like July 4, Flag Day, Memorial Day...

for that extra little

love of America!

how grand

how lucky

how patriotic

down to the red hot chili peppers

and under the porch pots!

to express to the folks that drive by my house

America?  I stinkin love you!

I admire your way of loving your flag, I'm talking about Americans in general. It's a little bit different in Spain. It has relation with the Civil War from 1935 to 1939 and our 40 years of dictatorial regimen. A lot of people relate the flag with the regimen. But I feel the spanish flag belong to all the spaniards. It's a little bit difficult to explain.
Ok, I'm very glad because you have a very special festivity in three days. Cheers!

Enjoyed seeing all your flags. Betsy Ross seems to be the first DIY-er whose project still cheers us all. She would surely be a blogger if she were alive today and imagine what her Pinterest pages would look like!

Hello,

It's such a pretty flag that I'm kind of wishing I could put them in my flower pots. Maybe, I'll pretend I'm American on the 4th!

I stinkin' love your post and flags! SUper Uncle Sam, too. It has been pouring rain here, and it's supposed to continue the rest of the week, so we didn't decorate outdoors. I'll just enjoy your outdoor decor over here!
