JULIE TAYMOR

I really do believe that if you don't challenge yourself and risk failing, that it's not interesting.
Julie Taymor
Do you have an idol?
When I first saw the costumes on the
Lion King
I had no idea who Julie Taymor was

my goodness what imagination

Director, playwright, puppeteer, designer

Her simple beauty

her incredible talent

her vision

her fragility

her brevity to step outside the lines

her achievement
and her place in history as
the first woman to win a Tony

do you have an idol?
