POPPY'S PERCH

When I bought this chair from Havertys MANY years ago, the clerk told me it would be
the kind of chair
that would last a lifetime
the kind of chair that I would re-cover
again and again
well no
because this is the chair where I sit with Betty
and soon Perrylin
and others yet to be

to watch God's majestic nature perform outside our window

we come in from the garden or pool
and sit here to cool off or warm up
or watch the leaves and snow fall
soon
it is faded
old
comfortable
and I like it just like it is
it's located just at the end of the atrium
in its very own spot

the birds coo

the cocoons transform

magic happens

God's

attention

to

detail

everywhere

yes...
God's attention to detail abounds

I think God is a fan of
hats

I love the idea of a "nature chair"...I would especially like it in winter while watching the birds at the bird feeder against the backdrop of snow.

your view out the window makes the chair all the more special. I wouldn't want to change it at all either!

A lovely corner to have tea and enjoy the view outside! I can picture you there, Gina :)

I see what you mean. I could spend the whole day just sitting and watching the miracles happen outside my window.
Lovely.

The couch looks so comfy!! I am re-doing a couch sort of like yours. I love the color and I am sure the views are amazing in the fall.

teeeheeeee....I think God loves to make beautiful things, interesting things, WILD THINGS, and most of all, lovely things. THAT PERCH IS GORGEOUS and I could sit there myself all day reading, watching the animals, watching the kids, writing poetry.

Gina dear, thank you for coming! Anita
