ANGELS IN MY CASA

Do you believe in angels?

Man I sure do and I could bore you to death with all the examples I have experienced
since I first started studying about them.

When we first bought 822 we moved in a lot of stuff even though we didn't live here
and the workers just had to work around our stuff

One day I overheard one of them say

que la casa está llena de ángeles

So I started to take inventory and by golly
he was right!

This is oil on canvas given to me by my good artist friend Marilyn
The first time I went to her studio I admired it and later asked to purchase it
She said it was not for sale
So we purchased other things
when she came to visit me one time she brought it and said
"this painting can now live at your house"

a Christmas gift from hubby
so melancholy

This is the 2nd time I have taken a photo of this where that "fire" appears in the middle of it
that's what I'm talking about...this picture is alive...that little cupid angel lives in it!

A house warming gift from my bf JoJo

I'm liking silver and gold and metallic mixed
this was a quarter at Tex Kopke's Flea Market

Hubby bought this for me in Madrid NM
enchanting..she will sit on my dressing table soon
she has the cutest bun..on both ends!
Behind her are two nude angels by Kader Boly

When I went to pick out a dress for the Kentucky Derby I bought her
Clothes don't really toot my horn

Pottery Barn...Grapevine Texas

Paper mache'

house warming gift from bf Denise
"you can't stop the birds from flying over your head but you can keep them from building a nest in your hair"
unless you want them to

sweet

she hangs over the arch into my chapel
Taos NM

My hubby gave me this for Valentine's Day some time ago
It used to be in my kitchen window at my old house and my little green bird, Bonito,
would sit on its head and sing (and poop)

Hubby bought me a pair of these old Santos at Two Graces in Taos NM
I have slathered them in rosaries

Horchow

I have a set of three..you can just glimpse the other one

I bought Hubby a pair..he is a Libra
They came in pieces and his gift was all apart with each part of the angel meaning something
for Valentine's Day...
...strong arms to hold me
the other one is Rafael

Jaco Costa Rica
I thought I would not forget the kind of tree, but I have
He could have had a plane ride home with us for what it cost us to ship
He is not that heavy, just big
one of those issues long forgotten and totally worth it

She came from Lubbock

The big one from Santa Fe and the green one?
Market Street Grocery Store!

There are more, but that's enough.
The point is that either you believe or you don't
I do

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares
Hebrews 13:2

I have seen personally the "angels" unaware. You do realize there is one really beautiful angel you forgot to mention in your collection. It is the "angel" of 822 Barkley Street who has taken a human form for a season.

Loved seeing your angels! I have one over my back door. And I used to wear an angel pin all the time, but it finally broke. :( You have some gorgeous angels. A house full of angels. What a wonderful place it must be.
