THE JOKE'S ON ME

Last week the crew was removing rock from 822 to begin the addition of the master and came across the skeleton of a squirrel.

Hubby is always looking for good joke presents to give to his bank friends at the office Christmas party so  we saved it away.

Just for fun, I moved it to this cabinet in the garage where he keeps some of his tools
in hopes that he would open it up and it would scare the wits out of him when he saw it!

Well...the joke was on me!
He didn't move the squirrel, but he moved my garden gloves

and when I opened the cabinet up to look for them
this is what I saw

Booger...it worked...but it scared the wits out of ME!

aaaaannnnnddddddd

Speaking of jokes

This is the email and photos from my mother concerning Funny Hunny
Of course, I will get even when I use these pictures of Gina in my blog!!!
(does she have a blog?)

pointing out my fashion sense

and the spot on my Brownie uniform
and out of 5 kids, 4 of us wore the same black glasses...I'm sure it was a family discount
I think we might have all had the same haircut as well
heck...put us in a line, cut our hair, put on the glasses and off to school we go for school day photos

But this calendar was the funniest of all...you see
I am 11 years older than hubby and she cut/pasted his little 1st grade photo and slipped it
into ex-hubby's place for our calendar that year.  I think it was also a pot holder or a mouse pad.

Some folks didn't think it was too funny..but I really did and still do
time, in all matters...
(glasses vs laser or
humor in kids and spouses)

yes
time, in all matters
is our friend

Hello Gina:
We are never to be found having our photographs taken and, looking at your very scary album, we have been wise!!!! The spectacles are particularly strange but, then, as in so many things, as everyone was wearing the same kind of thing, it was all quite normal! It is, as you say, such fun to look back on it all and smile!!
